Dust Mites

The house dust mites are guests in human habitation. They feed on organic detritus such as flakes of shed human skin and flourish in a sttable environment. They survive in all climates and thrive in the environment provided by beds, kitchens and homes where the Sun’s rays do not reach them. They reproduce easily in bedding (especially in pillows) because of the humidity generated by the body during several hours of breathing and perspiring.

They are the one of the most common allergens that trigger asthma. The main signs of dust-mite bites are itchiness, sneezing and inflamed/infected skin, watering eyes and hay fever.
